The Vibe Grading System is our proprietary classification method that assigns every strain a Vibe based on its terpene-driven effects and a Tier based on its overall quality. It replaces generic indica/sativa labels with something that actually tells you how the flower will make you feel.

Vibe assignment starts with the COA. We analyze each strain's full terpene profile to identify the dominant compounds, then validate with a hands-on sensory evaluation. The terpene fingerprint determines the Vibe — not the strain name, not the grower's marketing.
Step one is the Certificate of Analysis. Every batch we consider comes with a third-party lab report breaking down cannabinoid percentages and individual terpene concentrations. We map the dominant terpenes against our Vibe profiles to establish a preliminary classification.
Step two is sensory evaluation. Our team assesses aroma (jar appeal), flavor (combustion and vapor), and subjective effect character. If the sensory experience aligns with the COA prediction, the Vibe is confirmed. If there's a mismatch — say the terpene profile reads Energizing but the experience skews Balancing — we dig deeper before assigning.

Tier assignment evaluates potency, terpene richness, cure quality, and visual presentation. A strain's Tier reflects the overall caliber of the flower — how it looks, smells, smokes, and tests — independent of its Vibe classification.
We evaluate four factors:
Potency. Total THCa percentage from the COA. Higher isn't always better, but it establishes a baseline. Headliners typically test above 28%; Opening Acts land in the 20-28% range.
Terpene complexity. Total terpene percentage and profile diversity. Headliners show rich, multi-layered profiles; Opening Acts have clean but simpler compositions.
Cure and trim. Moisture content, bud density, trichome preservation, and trim quality. We reject batches with hay smell, harsh smoke, or visible stems.
Visual presentation. Bud structure, color, frost coverage. This is the jar-appeal factor — what you see when you open the bag.
Snowcaps follow a different path: we start with a qualifying cultivar (Headliner or strong Opening Act base) and apply THCa diamond infusion. The Snowcaps tier always indicates infused flower. View our COAs for full test results.

THCa meter. A visual bar normalized to our 15-40% range. The percentage and meter give you a quick read on potency relative to other strains in our catalog.
Terpene pills. The top three terpenes by concentration, pulled directly from the COA. These drive the Vibe classification and predict the flavor/aroma experience.
Grow type. Indoor, greenhouse, or outdoor — each method produces different characteristics at different price points.

We assign Vibes through a two-step process. First, we analyze each strain's Certificate of Analysis to identify the dominant terpene profile. Then our team conducts a sensory evaluation — assessing aroma, flavor, and subjective effects. The terpene data and sensory feedback together determine which of the five Vibes best describes the strain's character.
These are our three quality Tiers. Headliner is top-shelf flower with exceptional potency, complex terpene profiles, and flawless cure. Opening Act delivers reliable quality at an accessible price point. Snowcaps are diamond-infused flower — premium cultivars dusted with THCa diamonds for maximum potency.
THCA flower containing less than 0.3% delta-9 THC is legal under the 2018 Farm Bill at the federal level. In Texas, hemp-derived products meeting this threshold are legal under House Bill 1325.
