The lineup
We are still sourcing the right products.
Nothing is listed here yet, and that is on purpose. We are building the cat CBD shelf to the same standard as everything else in the shop: third-party tested, properly dosed for a body a fraction of a dogโs size, and formulated for cats rather than repackaged from a dog line. When something clears that bar it will show up here. In the meantime the shelves below are stocked today.
What should you look for in CBD for a cat?
If your cat has been a little more on edge lately, whether it is travel, a vet visit, changes at home, or just the general chaos of being a cat, you are not alone. Cat owners tell us they are curious about CBD for cats as a way to support their cat’s everyday calm. Cats are sensitive creatures, and we have noticed more folks looking for straightforward, natural options. We are actively building our collection of hemp cat treats and feline CBD to give you options that work with how cats actually are, not how we wish they were.
Here is the thing: cats metabolize differently than dogs, which is why cat-specific CBD products matter. Their systems are more sensitive, so dosing runs much lower, and ingredients like essential oils that are fine for a pup can genuinely stress a cat out. When we carry CBD oil for cats, we are looking for products that respect those differences: full spectrum hemp that is third-party tested, formulated specifically for feline bodies, and dosed for a creature that weighs a fraction of what your dog does. That is the standard we are holding ourselves to while we source, the same one we have applied to every shelf since we opened the Houston shop in 2023.
Whether your cat gets uneasy during thunderstorms, unsettled when you are away, or just carries the general tension that comes with being a senior cat, cat owners are turning to quality CBD cat treats as part of their approach to feline wellness. We are not here to make claims, because that is between you and your vet. We are here to point you toward products that cat owners trust and that are actually made for cats.
A few things worth knowing before you buy anything anywhere. Look for a published certificate of analysis from an independent lab, not a marketing sheet. Check that the label gives mg of CBD per treat or per dropper, so you can actually calculate a dose by weight. Skip anything with added essential oils, xylitol, or vague "proprietary blend" wording. And introduce it slowly: one low dose, a few days of watching, then adjust with your vet in the loop.
We are currently sourcing the best calming CBD for cats options to add to the shop. If you have cats, or dogs and you are already stocked from our CBD dog treats collection, check back soon. Your cat’s chill is worth waiting for. In the meantime the full CBD shelf is in stock, and if you want a recommendation for your specific cat, reach out and we will tell you honestly whether we have anything for you yet.
Before you try it
Is CBD safe for cats?
When sourced from quality, third-party tested hemp and formulated specifically for cats, CBD is something many cat owners feel comfortable exploring. Cats are sensitive creatures and their bodies metabolize things differently than ours or even a dog does. Always talk with your vet before introducing anything new, especially if your cat is on medication. We only plan to carry products made specifically for feline bodies, not generic versions.
How much CBD should I give my cat?
Dosing for cats runs much lower than for dogs, because cats are smaller and their systems are more delicate. The right dose depends on your cat weight, the format you are using, treats versus oil, and the product itself. This is exactly why we look for cat-specific products with clear dosing guidelines, and why your vet input matters.
What is the difference between cat CBD and dog CBD?
The biggest difference is dosage and ingredient sensitivity. Dog CBD products often carry essential oils, flavors, or dosing levels that can stress cats out. Cat CBD is formulated lower-dose, without those added ingredients, and respects how differently feline bodies process compounds. It is a different product built for a different body.
Will CBD make my cat high?
No. CBD is non-intoxicating and does not produce a high in cats or in humans. Quality hemp-derived CBD products are tested to confirm they contain less than 0.3% THC, well below any threshold for psychoactive effects. Your cat stays your cat, just potentially a little more relaxed.
When will cat CBD be in stock?
We do not have a date, and we would rather say that than promise one. We are testing options now and the shelf goes live the moment something meets our bar: independent lab COA, cat-specific formulation, and clear per-dose labeling. Check back here, or ask us at the Houston counter and we will tell you where we are.
Can I give my cat the dog treats in the meantime?
We would not. Dog formulas are dosed for a much larger animal and often include flavorings or oils that do not suit cats. Wait for a cat-specific product, and talk to your vet in the meantime.
