How We Put Every Strain to the Test

The Evaluation Crew

Before a strain makes it onto our menu, it goes through a full audition. Our head budtender selects at least three team members to test it out. Each tester starts fresh, sampling the strain from a sober, clear-headed state to ensure they get the purest read on its effects. Sessions take place in real-life settings, allowing us to evaluate how the strain fits into everyday experiences.

Breaking Down the Major & Minor Vibes

Every strain is assigned a Major Vibe that defines the overall experience:

• Energizing: Boosts focus, creativity, and movement. (Shop Energizing)

• Balancing: A perfect harmony of calm and energy. (Shop Balancing)

We also assess the strain’s Minor Vibes to provide deeper insight:

• Mental Vibe: Does it spark focus, ease the mind, or tap into creativity?
• Social Vibe: Does it enhance conversation, balance energy, or promote introspection?
• Physical Vibe: Does it invigorate movement, provide soothing relief, or encourage full-body relaxation?

Final Grading & Tier Assignment

Our head budtender compiles tester reviews and assigns the strain to a flower tier:

• Show Stopper: Premium products with top-tier potency, flavor, and effects, unforgettable in every way.
• Headliner: The HiFi Standard, strong, flavorful, and consistent across all formats.
• Rising Star: A step up from budget-friendly options, offering better structure, taste, and effects.

If a strain almost makes a higher tier but falls short in one area, like nose, aesthetic, flavor, or potency, we’ll still assign it to that tier with a discount and explain why. We believe in transparency, so you’ll always know what to expect.
